Chapter 1
Between stimulus and response
Between every stimulus and every response, there is a gap, and it can be widened. You don't need to be calmer than you are. You only need to be slower than your reactions.
Lesson Action
Your task this week: Choose one difficult input: an email, a conversation, a piece of news. Give it a deliberate gap before you answer. Notice your body, name the feeling, then respond.
